Born in a pandemic, built for permanence
In 2020, when supply chains buckled and communities went hungry, Project Grow started getting locally grown food to the people who needed it. What began with a few raised beds and a refusal to accept the status quo has grown into a network of six urban sites.
The people who depend on food banks and community pantries rarely get a choice. They receive ultra-processed, shelf-stable food and are expected to thrive. Project Grow exists because that is not good enough. Chemical-free, seasonal, grown within walking distance. That is good food.
